About Schiotz Tonometer

The Schiotz tonometer monitors intraocular pressure using contact tonometry (IOP). The apparatus consists of a handheld instrument that presses a known force against the cornea and a mechanical gauge that gauges corneal deformation. The IOP is then determined using the corneal deformation. Our offering is one of the instruments that is most frequently used to measure IOP. It is a trustworthy and precise way to assess IOP. Schiotz tonometer aids in conducting a test to assess the pressure inside your eyes. The test is utilised as a glaucoma screening tool. It is also employed to gauge the efficacy of glaucoma treatment.
