About Digital Lensmeter
The optical power of lenses and other optical components can be measured using a digital lensometer. It is made up of a display, a lens, and a digital camera. The lens being measured is photographed using a digital camera, and the lens is also utilised to focus the image on the display. The optical power of the lens is displayed on the display, and this information is used to determine the focal length, f-number, and other parameters. Eye care experts check the prescription in eyeglass lenses using a digital lensometer. The tool is also used during the eyeglass manufacturing process to orient and mark lenses that have not yet been cut.
